The story has been taken down. My neice has downsyndrome. Life is not about looks. She is a wonderful caring person who loves more deeply than anyone I know. She teaches me how to be more open with my feelings.

That article was apalling from the start. I wrote to the editor in hopes they will review articles like that more carefully. He was trying in some wierd way to advocate against the stigmas of people with DS all the while in the same sentence stigmatizing them HIMSELF! How very irritating how people can be so ignorant.
